Ive uninstalled my cards drivers, Ive installed the latest drivers, Ive uninstalled again and used the Windows Update feature for drivers and all the latest Windows update. Try in a selective boot: To Enable selective startup please follow the following steps: 1. Press the Windows Key + R 2. Type msconfig in the Open text area and click Ok 3. When on the General tab, choose Selective Startup and untick Load Startup items 4. Click Apply and then Ok to restart Windows using a selective startup. Hi, Tried that all ready, forgot to mention. /bonk I wanted to make sure that it wasnt any of the software running was causing the problem. All that boots with it my system is MSN/Skype/Bitdefender and Iphone/Itunes software. I also unplugged all usb devices as HDs, Headsets and all that. I find it a bit odd that it started to happen after the patch. Did the devs change anything in the hardware profile of wow? Edit: Ive also reset my Addons/WTF folder At which stage do you get a black screen? Since this latest patch I have been having a weird issue. Whenever I am switching characters the screen tends to turn black. I can still hear game sounds, but thats it really. I can alt tab and stuff , I play windowed, but tested full screen also, the pc doesnt crash. And sometimes the game comes back after a couple of minutes I have noticed. |
