What does this traceroute suggest?

Basically Ive been having extremely bad lag spikes over the past week or two that are making some aspects of wow basically unplayable.

Im on sky broadband in the UK and Im not sure if Ive done this traceroute correctly so please bear with me if Ive made a mistake.

Hi,

The first "Hop" to your router seems a bit excessive.

This *might* be the reason other hops are timing out.

Id recommend restaring the router.

Then restart the PC to obtain the broadband service link to your provider again.

Re-Run the traceroute again and see of it drops the ms on the first hop.

If it does not check for updated drivers if there are any for your Network card.

You could also try disabling any Antivirus/Firewall software temporarily to check a recent update had not affected your network. (Remember to reenable this at the earliest opportunity after this test
